Deputy District Management Director

The Deputy District Management Director (DDMD) will serve as the operational right hand to the Chief District Management Officer, supporting the day-to-day management and long-term strategy of programs and initiatives that enhance the cleanliness, safety, and beautification of Downtown Newark. This leader will help oversee district operations, vendor management, quality-of-life enforcement workflows, special projects, and cross-agency partnerships. 

This leader will also assist the DDMD in strategic planning for public realm improvements, managing high-value vendor contracts, fostering and enabling data-informed decision-making. 

The DDMD will be both a tactical executor and a strategic thinker—comfortable leading field operations one day and crafting interagency workflow designs or KPIs the next.
